On the 12th of September 2021, Health Compass Initiative partnered once again with Uduak Charles Diaries on the PSALMS Outreach. This year, the PSALMS Outreach stretched her services to the Akai Ubium Community in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The PSALMS Outreach is a social program targeted at people people of the rural communities. It shares in our ideology of bringing the hospital to the community and was another opportunity of expanding the frontiers of our services. We reached over a hundred persons with health education and free medical services.
Our Volunteers took vital signs like Blood Pressure Checks and Blood Sugar Checks while our Doctors gave free consultation and counselling services to the people of the community in addition to free medications.
It was another opportunity to feel the pulse of the community, determine their health needs and to bring the hospital closer to the people through our free medical services.
